Welcome to Mol Bhaav — a free price and weight calculator app built for Indian shopkeepers, vendors, and everyday buyers. We take your privacy seriously and have built this app with a privacy-first approach.

This Privacy Policy explains clearly what data Mol Bhaav collects, how it is used, and what rights you have. By using Mol Bhaav, you agree to this policy.

Mol Bhaav does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your location or GPS coordinates
• Your contacts, messages, or call logs
• Your calculation inputs or results
• Your expense entries or Kharcha records
• Your saved presets or app settings
• Any payment or financial account information
• Your device's photos, camera, microphone, or files

We have no servers, no database, and no backend. There is nowhere for your data to go except your own device.

All data you create inside Mol Bhaav — including custom weight presets, Kharcha expense entries, and your language preference — is stored locally on your device only using Android's secure local storage (AsyncStorage).

• Your data never leaves your phone
• It is not synced to any cloud or server
• It is not accessible to us or any third party
• It is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app

Mol Bhaav requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• Internet — Required for loading fonts and optional future features. The core calculator works completely offline.
• Vibration — Used only for optional haptic feedback when a result is calculated. No data is collected from this.

Mol Bhaav does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, SMS, or any file storage.

Mol Bhaav currently uses the following third-party service:

Google Play Services

Mol Bhaav is distributed through Google Play. Google Play Services may collect anonymized crash reports and basic app performance data via Android Vitals if your device settings permit. This data is used only to improve app stability and does not include any of your personal information or calculation data.

For more details, see the Google Privacy Policy.

WhatsApp Share

When you tap the "Share on WhatsApp" button, Mol Bhaav uses the standard Android share intent to open WhatsApp with a pre-filled text. Mol Bhaav does not access your WhatsApp account, contacts, or messages. The sharing action is entirely handled by WhatsApp and Android.

Mol Bhaav is a general utility app rated Everyone on Google Play and is safe for all ages. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Since no personal data is collected by Mol Bhaav at all, parents and guardians can be confident the app poses no privacy risk to children.

Because Mol Bhaav does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no personal data held by us to request, export, or delete. However, you can:

• Clear all locally stored app data from Android Settings → Apps → Mol Bhaav → Clear Data
• Uninstall the app at any time to permanently remove all locally stored data
• Contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your privacy

Since Mol Bhaav does not transmit any personal data over the internet, the risk of a data breach involving your information is effectively zero. All data is stored locally on your device and protected by Android's built-in security model.

We recommend keeping your Android device up to date with the latest security patches for overall device safety.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page occasionally. Continued use of Mol Bhaav after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
